2013 Reserve Petit Verdot
The “Dark Horse” of the Bordeaux varietals, our Petit Verdot was grown in Washington’s famed Columbia Valley and aged in French Oak from the Bommiers forest for 25 months. Leaving the 2013 Petit Verdot unfiltered and unfined helps preserve the subtle aromas of ripe blackberry, blueberry, and marshmallows toasted over a cedar flame. Intense field berries dominate the palate with velvety tannin leading to a long, smooth finish. This Petit Verdot will age beautifully over the next 4-6 years. You can serve this wine with an aged cheddar cheese, braised venison or any grilled meat.
